• 4 Kingfish steaks
  • Flour
  • Salt/pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 pinch cumin.
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • Bay leaf


Marinade the fish with salt, pepper, and juice of 1/2 lemon. Flour the fish and brown in 1/4 cup oil. Set aside, add the rest of the oil and cook the onion, pepper, garlic, tomato sauce and spices. Add the wine and the bay leaf and place the steaks on the sauce, cooking for an additional 15 mins or until fish is fully cooked. You may add a few spanish olives stuffed with peppers.
